Series-12 Connector – Southwest Microwave

The new -12 series connectors maintain the same RF performance as the well-established -6 series, whilst introducing a thread-in design that allows for easier integration and greater cost-efficiency, without compromising on reliability.

The two series share the same launch geometry and transition block dimensions, ensuring design continuity and high performance up to 125 GHz.

The main difference between the two solutions lies in the mounting system: whilst the -6 series uses a 4-hole flanged connector secured to the transition block, the -12 series employs a threaded design that screws directly into the block.

This configuration simplifies assembly and represents a particularly attractive alternative for projects requiring high RF performance combined with greater efficiency in system implementation.
