Lab 10.70 from Cibred Sud

The LAB10.70 dehydrator is an equipment designed for continuous operation and automatic duty. Dry air with a dew point better than -40 °C and an air flow up to 1500 l/h is supplied with two pressure levels as follows (other factory setting on request):

• 70 kPa (AIR OUTLET1)
• 40 kPa (AIR OUTLET2)

Dry air is provided through two standard air outlets with hose-tail fittings accessible from rear panel.

Air drying is performed by means of two drying towers containing desiccant sieve. While one tower dries (water content of the incoming air is adsorbed by desiccant) the other one is regenerated by heating and backwashing with a reverse dry air flow. Drying cycles timings are controlled by a microprocessor board.

Air is compressed by a two heads reciprocating brushless compressor which holds the target pressure in air outlets. A PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is used to control the air compressor speed in order to optimize compressor duty, power consumption, acoustic noise and to improve reliability.

The electronic speed control eliminates the need of mechanical pressure regulators. The LAB10.70 dehydrator does not require presettings nor a warm up time before startup.

AIR OUTLET2 pressure, which is not automatically controlled, can be manually regulated by adjusting an internal mechanical pressure regulator.
