DRM150 – 1.5M Vehicle-Mounted Tri-band Tactical Antenna
X, Ku and Ka-Band · No-tools quick change frequency cartridge
The DRM150 is a multi-band tactical antenna system from Holkirk with a unique no-tools, quick change frequency cartridge solution. The feed, BUC and waveguide for each band mount on a single quick-interchange cartridge, so the only connections the operator makes are power, L-Band and control.
Quick change feed cassette across X, Ku and Ka-band
Multi-band operation designed for effortless changeover in the field. No tools are required to change the band of operation, and all satellite acquisition commands are performed via a simple antenna controller unit.
Ultra-compact tri-band vehicle-mounted antenna
The DRM integrates the drive control, positioning hardware and beacon receiver into a fully sealed, aerodynamic antenna enclosure, making the system a robust, standalone sub-assembly ready to install on almost any vehicle. Simple load-spreading vehicle mounting with minimised cable and connections.
Tri-band RF performance to 80W X-band
Up to 80W X-band, 50W Ku-band and 20W Ka-band, with overall power handling above 400W. Ka-band delivers 50.6 dBi transmit gain and G/T above 23 dB/k at 20° elevation; X-band gives 40.3 dBi transmit gain with G/T above 17 dB/k.
Full auto-pointing with AIM MOBILE
The DRM system is equipped with a GPS receiver, electronic compass and levelling inclinometers, with full auto-pointing capability via the Holkirk AIM MOBILE.
Single thread or 1+1 redundant RF configuration
Integrated BUC, LNB and waveguide, available in single thread or 1+1 redundant RF configuration for mission-critical links.
High wind loading with 100mph stowed survival
Full fairing aerodynamic housing with rotary joints on all axes, operational to 40mph and surviving 100mph stowed. Pointing loss better than 0.2dB. Fully Eutelsat characterised.
