The Eutelsat-characterised 1.2M TP120 is part of the Holkirk Next Generation Land Terminal family, a sophisticated multi-band system designed to excel in today’s challenging secure satcom world. A simple no-tools approach to assembly and a user-friendly but powerful antenna control unit make the TP120 the choice for users in both commercial and military applications.

Multi-band flyaway terminal with no-tools band changeover

Switching between C, X, Ku and Ka-band frequencies lets the system optimise data transmission for real-time conditions. Advanced auto frequency band detection and adaptive RF parameter selection ensure the modem is always set to the correct receive configuration, and band selection requires no tools.

Carbon fibre reflector with spherical dowel locking

The main reflector is manufactured from high-quality carbon fibre and supplied in six easily assembled petals employing a spherical dowel locking mechanism to ensure perfect alignment. Ku-band delivers 43.71 dBi transmit gain; Ka-band reaches 49.1 dBi.

HPA cradle supporting third-party amplifiers to 400W

The lightweight, sturdy tripod design includes a versatile HPA cradle accommodating a wide range of third-party HPAs up to 400W in X, Ku and Ka-bands, removing the long lengths of fragile flexible waveguide normally associated with flyaway systems.

Non-geostationary inclined orbit tracking

Integrated across the entire Next Generation Land Terminal range, enabling the terminals to track satellites in inclined orbits and delivering seamless coverage across diverse environments.

AIM MOBILE control with 30-satellite database

The TP120 can be equipped with the Holkirk AIM MOBILE for tri-band operation with auto-sensing frequency band, a 30-satellite database, BUC/TWT integrated monitor and control, and a graphical user interface.
