Globes Partners Link Microtek design and build their own products or develop components and systems to client specifications.

Having design engineers and workshop in-house means they can quickly develop products for new projects or support existing programmes requiring post design services or through life support.

Design range:

RF Components: RF and microwave coaxial and waveguide components ranging from microwave antennas to harmonic filters to high directivity couplers in both rectangular and double-ridged waveguide

Rotary Joints: For Ka, Ku & X-band satellite-on-the-move (SOTM) high-data-rate communication systems for military or commercial mobile platforms on land, sea or air.

High current capability on the receive channel means the antenna’s LNB and tracking system can be powered via the rotary joint, thereby eliminating the need for additional slip rings, saving space and weight. A number of different configurations are available to suit specific antenna requirements. Units are available for continuously rotating radar systems such as S-Band air traffic control or C & X-Band military surveillance radars.

Sub-Systems: Link Microtek build systems for test or production applications as diverse as amplifier combiners or switch matrices to an airport explosive detection system.
