This GPS amplifier system operates by receiving GPS satellite signals with an antenna located outside the structure/building/hangar and bringing the signal inside or under a covered space. It is a low power L1 GPS amplifier system that is often used for system testing, initialization and product demonstration. This equipment is not used for indoor navigation. The GPS position of any device operating from the transmitted signal would reflect the position of the active outdoor antenna, instead of the actual GPS receiving device.
