REACH RoHS WEEE The EU ordinance 1907/2006 “Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH)” is intended to limit the dangers and risks originating from chemicals. The responsibility for safe handling of such products is that of the companies themselves.
Declaration to REACH Chemical Ordinance
The EU ordinance 1907/2006 “Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH)” is intended to limit the dangers and risks originating from chemicals. The responsibility for safe handling of such products is that of the companies themselves.
This affects (obligation to register) products listed in REACH,
- which under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions could be approved (article 7, paragraph 1),
- and which are imported in a total quantity exceeding 1 tonne annually.
This does not affect GLOBES GmbH & Co KG as a so-called ‘downstream’ applicant or importer and bulk dealer (article 3.11.). We do not produce chemicals or import them within the context of the REACH ordinance.
The products imported by us (products according to article 3.3.; mainly electronic components for telecommunication engineering) are not included in the categories “materials” or “preparations” and therefore do not need to be registered.
Therefore, we are not obligated to register.
Declaration to Directives 2011/65/EU and 2015/863/EU (RoHS) and 2015/19/EG (WEEE)
We hereby confirm the conformity of our products with the directives indicated above.
The products imported by us do not contain an excess of 0.1 mass% of the materials listed in the directive.
