I had already worked in the satcoms industry for a number of years and was aware of Milexia UK’s (Sematron, as it was) growing reputation as a customer focussed business. When the opportunity arose, I decided to apply to join them … nearly 25 years later I’m still here as part of team Milexia UK helping our customers overcome their challenges. I joined Milexia UK (Sematron, as it was) nearly 16 years ago when I was looking for a change of direction in my career, since than I have been encouraged to expand my knowledge and supported to take on many challenges within a very varied role which is continually evolving. Milexia UK is a small tight knit team of likeminded people who work and socialise well together – a very enjoyable place to work.
Having recently joined Milexia; looking from the outside during the interview and induction process, I was made to feel part of the team as soon as I was selected for the role. The interview questionnaire used gave the interviewers a deep and extensive understanding of me, added to the industry knowledge they had, it made for very smooth and fluid interviews. Straight away I had a firm vision of a close- knit team of knowledgeable minds that gelled like a family.
Having now been with the company for over 4 months, I understand how close the team work together which made for a pleasant and smooth process to becoming one of the team at Milexia.
